INTERSCHUTZ – pei tel presents video solution for rescue teams

Faster and more efficient: The Ambulance Video Assistant (AVA) transmits audio, video and vital data between different persons involved in a rescue operation. Via a web app, paramedics at the scene of an accident can, for example, connect to an emergency doctor via live video transmission, who can already assess the situation and give initial instructions. In this way, faster treatment is possible and the emergency doctor only has to be on site for as long as he is really needed. Together with its partner company FTI, which is responsible for the development of the solution, pei tel is presenting the Ambulance Video Assistant (AVA) as well as numerous other communication solutions from its own company and products from other manufacturers at the INTERSCHUTZ trade fair from 20 to 25 June in Hanover at booth C15 in hall 16.

"In rescue operations, speed and efficiency are key factors. The sooner the treatment of a patient can begin, the better the results and the sooner doctors can return to new tasks," says Thomas Martin, Managing Director of pei tel. Especially in rural areas, care during rescue operations is becoming increasingly difficult due to the shortage of emergency doctors. With the Ambulance Video Assistant, this can be counteracted. The solution was developed in cooperation with experienced rescue teams to ensure the highest possible suitability for everyday use. Optionally, emergency physicians can even be virtually present at the scene of the incident with the help of the ThinkReality A3 AR glasses from Lenovo.

In addition to the Ambulance Video Assistant, another highlight of pei tel's presentation at INTERSCHUTZ will be the R5 communication solution from the British partner Handsfree Group. The system is permanently installed in vehicles and consists of a control unit, a touch screen and a variety of other components such as handsets, loudspeakers and antennas that can be added as required. MCX-certified PTToC applications (Push-to-Talk over Cellular), Bluetooth, WLAN, GPS as well as DMO (Direct Mode) communication thanks to optionally connectable radios are available as communication modes. Visitors will also be able to find out about Motorola Solutions' wide range of current radio devices and broadband solutions, among other things.

"At INTERSCHUTZ, we want to present the entire bandwidth of our constantly growing range of communication solutions. In addition to the products we distribute from well-known manufacturers, this naturally also includes the products we develop and manufacture ourselves," Martin explains. Visitors to the fair will have the opportunity to see for themselves the comprehensive broadband solutions, consisting of portable devices as well as systems for fixed installation in vehicles. The pei tel portfolio is rounded off by a large selection of microphone types, handsets, loudspeakers, desktop microphones and audio accessories for a wide range of applications.
