FTI Engineering Network GmbH (FTI), a leader in Aircraft Modifications, is successfully completing the design and implementation of another upgrade, this time on the Dornier DO 228.101. This upgrade covers both ADS-B Implementation and a major cockpit upgrade, which includes two new FMS (Dual Garmin GTNxi Series), ADS-B Out Transponder, Standby Instrument with internal Backup Battery, Replacement of the 3rd VHF, a new Dataloader for the existing FMS and a FLARM and ADS-B Traffic Receiver. After finalisation of successful flight tests, the final release of the STC is set to occur in January.
